FAQ

Why do I have to pay a registration fee?

The registration fee helps cover the cost of setting your child up with everything they need for their program. This includes software fees among other fees.

What do I get for the material fee?

Your child will receive their uniform shirt, any books required for their program, and a carrying bag. This fee also includes any consumable items required for your child’s program.

Does my child have to wear the uniform shirt?

Yes! All students are required to wear their uniform shirt when attending their programs. If your child does not bring their shirt, we will provide one to them at an additional cost.

Why do I pay equal monthly fees when there are some weeks that you are closed?

You are not charged for weeks that we are closed. Your monthly payment covers the cost of 35 lessons in a school year with the cost divided into equal monthly payments for convenience. Please see our Calendar and Fees pages.

What happens if my class or lesson falls on a holiday Monday?

No classes or lessons are schedule on holidays. The center will be closed for the whole week and you will not be charged for that week. Your monthly payment covers the cost of 35 lessons in a school year with the cost divided into equal monthly payments for convenience. Please see our Calendar and Fees pages.

What if I need to reschedule a lesson or class for any reason at all?

With 48 hours notice, Flex lessons may be rescheduled for any reason at all to another available time within 1 week of the originally scheduled lesson. After this time, the Flex lesson will be considered forfeited.

With 48 hours notice, a maximum of two Piano lessons may be rescheduled to another time within 1 week of the canceled lesson based on mutual availability of the student and teacher.

For regularly scheduled classes, missed classes may be made up within the same week if another class is available and space permitting.

What if my child is sick and not able to attend their lesson?

Each student is allowed a maximum of two last minute lesson cancellations per year due to illness. The missed lesson may be made up within 1 week of the canceled lesson. If the student does not show up without advance notice, the lesson will be considered forfeited.

Piano lessons that are canceled due to illness will count toward the maximum of two canceled lessons permitted per year.

Regularly scheduled classes that are missed may be made up within the same week if available and space permitting.
